Official Fluff Competition, 750 words, Rules (Please Read)

Competition: Best Fluff 300-750 Words


Entries may be posted on the 1st of September; closes on the 9th of September
Voting starts on the 10th of September; ends on the 17th.

Rules:
  • No more words than the limit, although there can be fewer.
  • Spelling and grammar count! If your work is sloppy and posted Chat-room style, the judges may decide to bump it.
  • NO COPYING FROM OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK! This includes stealing stories from other authors; either from the internet, books/magazines, etc. If the judges or other members can prove that a work is copied, it will be bumped off of the competition and the member in question may be smited.
  • The fluff must be coherent to the Warhammer 40k Universe, so no Guardsmen may shoot a Catapult at Gnoblars with Lascannons…
  • The fluff must be related to Warhammer 40K, so all you Fantasy fans will have to wait for the Best Fluff Open…
  • The Judge’s decision is final!
  • Members must post their work in the topic created, so do not PM your stories to anyone, or they will not be read by the members.
  • You may vote for your own story if you like.

Prizes: Karma, Pride, Bragging Rights…

Please disregard the "You may vote for your own story if you like" rule, for it is the judges that decide the best fluff!

Also, you must write a story that is fresh...not one that you have written previously.

Greetings all! I apolizige for the delay as I was couped up with the flu (and had my girlfiriend as my "Nurse", I might add!)

Congratulations to Tael!

Coolness! I enjoyed writing that piece, recently completed a model for Ui'Jhin, the Fire warrior.

Oh absolutely! As I said before, the results were very, very close! We rated the top 4 stories out of 15 (the rest is a secret!)
