Half fluff/half rules Q

If power armor is electro-mechanical in nature, shouldn't EMP Greandes be able to shut it down?

in purely fluff terms, yes.

but in game terms i would say that the armour is sheilded from EMPs in someway.

Jaynes Awesome Card Counter: +5

Everything is an ork weapon eventually.

Jayne is correct.

There's no rule in any rulebook saying that you can't do it.  But there's also no rule in print saying that I can't hire an industrial woodchipper and feed your models into it if you do so.

Jayne couldn't be stopped by a Reaver fleet.

Sometimes Fluff doesn't translate well into Rules. There's lots of things like that e.g. a Demolisher Cannon; you will probably never ever get a Cover Save at all from it. Another would be: a single squad of Space Marines should be able to win an entire battle singlehandedly.
Zenai's Awesome Card Counter: +?

Zenai's Fantasy Scoreboard (W/D/L): 9/0/6

22nd Nuln Artillery Company Scoreboard (W/D/L): 3/0/2

Waaagh! Nezfang Scoreboard (W/D/L): 2/0/3

Lord Kodok's Warhost Scoreboard (W/D/L): 2/0/1

Zen's Disciples Scoreboard (W/D/L): 2/0/0

Separate question, what is the nondescript piece(looks like a ground array of some kind) that comes with the XV-25 team?

It's an Objective Marker, as detailed in this article from White Dwarf.

Yeah. This is what happened last time. I'll leave it for another month. If there isn't enough interest I'll get a mod to lock it for a while. Then see if there is enough interest next year.

Well so far, we have three in the eastern states, two in WA and myself in SA. SA is the most central but not really anywhere here. Pretty sure there is a battlebunker in Melbourne but I can't get there at the moment and it's a long way to travel for you and MB.

As for when, I was thinking early next year. Late January early February.

I'm interested, but work keeps me very busy indeed.  Honestly, I was thinking of getting my business to a better stage and just hosting an Event.  There's a lot of crossover between the stuff I do and Gamer/40k culture.

Most of my traveling is done when I can write it off as a Business Expense anyways.  :P

Well, I think there is enough interest for one. The problem then becomes, I know a lot about Adelaide, but nothing about other state capitals. There isn't anywhere decent to hold the event here. From memory there was a decent size store we could go to in Melbourne but that's a fair way to travel for the guys in WA.

If you guys could suggest a few places that would be great.

Goddam hell no. The stig should stay as a mysterious figure. Its half the fun. People who want his identity revealed should be banned from driving and have their nuts cut off.

School now all over for me, HA! Somewhen in Victoria would be nice but I've an uncle in Lismore so Sydney...not a huge stretch. But I feel the good folks at WA are missing out. I know! Let's all go to Alice Springs! XD
