Scout army HQ choice?

(not sure where to put this, sorry moderaters)
So my next army is a scout company, and i'm happy with all the troops choices i've got, but what can i use as an HQ?

I was thinking either a chaplin or librarian, but as a scout, so using a 4+ save, but same balistic n weapon skill, assuming that they'd be the equivilent of scout sergents. any thoughts on which would play/look better or be easier to convert?

When I design a scouts only list. I always take a Chaplain.

His Special rules and wargear are a must IMO. Also, I think its more fluffy then a Librarian.

A Librarian is more a secondary HQ for me. I hate rolling leadership checks (or similar), as I always seem to fail.

Hope I helped somewhat.

Just take a captain... each company in a chapter has a captain, including the scouts. No reason to make him out to be the same as a scout... seems silly when you think about it. Scouts would never be allowed to lead, they are not 'qualified' marines as it were.
Your HQ choice literally is the only part that NEEDS to be power armoured, the rest can be completely made up of scouts, and equipped in a variety of ways too.

I would personally take an HQ with a captain and probably a chaplain in it... fluffwise it would work well, and it would give you a unit with some real punch too.
You can also take Sgt Telion from the ultramarines and use him as a 'counts as' if you aren't actually playing smurfs.

As I mentioned in the other scout army thread, get Shrike if you want a close combat scout horde, or a Master of the Forge to bolster defenses and get long range firepower with a conversion beamer.

You could use a special character if you wanted depending on the chapter of course.

Otherwise I don't see any harm in taking a chaplain or a captain into the ranks of your scout company.

I use Pedro as my HQ for my Scout army, and take a squad of Sternguard Veterans, allowing for stronger objective holding, even with taking so many Troop choices in it.  It allows for a bit more fire-power and better armour to be on the field.  It's the only unit in Power Armour that I take.
