Do sentinal plasma cannons have the 'gets hot' rule, because even though the 40k rule book sais it doesn't affect vehicles, the ig codex has plasma cannons as gets hot weapons?

If you read the rules properly you will see that gets hot only applies to infantry not vehicles. The gets hot in the weapon profile only applies to non vehicles.
