Killed a daemon prince in CC

So I'm playing thins game last night, 2 chaos bikes and a daemon prince on one wound are near my devilfish. Melta shot takes out devilfish, 6 men survive. Daemon prince charges the remaing FWs, I am in cover strike first. I get 1 5 to hit, I then rolled a 6 to wound, now praying to all the gods that he will fail his save and he rolled a 2!!!! FWs took out his daemon prince! In effect my Shas'ui poked his pulse rifle into the daemons 'special area' and pulled the trigger. That shas'ui is so getting promoted. To make it even sweeter, they then charged the bikes and killed off the last bike as well. Could not believe it.
They then had a defiler drop a battle round on their heads and they all died though, but they did well.
The turn before, I had taken his daemon prince down to 1 wound, fired my Ion cannon at it. 3 hits, 3 wounds, and for his invulnerable save, the slanneshi daemon prince rolled 3 6's for his save! It must be a sign.

cool man!!! they deserve that promotion!!! my kroot took down a hive tyrant, last week, but have been regrouping since. (i think the shaper could only find pieces of the rest...  :'(

OK that's just creepy ... My FW's faced this situation TODAY and took the HT down to 1 wound then my Commander finished the job

I was playing a friend's Nids army, and I hadn't read up on Biomorphs yet.  I charged with the Carnifex, failed to would and Assault Marine with Strom Shield and Power Fist.  The Marine just cocked back, clocked the 'Fex in the face, and he went down.  One punch.  Ugh.

But good on those FWs, man!

I have one squad of fw's that has continued to do fantastic things for me.

My commander owes his life to them; they took the last 2 wounds off of a wraithlord which would have shot him dead.
Old one eye refused to die.  Railgun after raligun slammed into him, only to have him get right back up again and keep advancing.  3 times, he got up again, then he assaulted my elite fw's, lost his last wound (failing a 2+ save) and then decided that he'd stay down the rest of the game.   
Several hive tyrants have died at their hands, and one termie squad will forever live (die) in infamy.

Their exploits have not gone without reward; they have now been converted with capes fastened at the belt.

Last game I had my Commander within charging range of a squad of Striking Scorpions. I needed to be lucky som I shot the Exarch Whicj was the only model visible and then charges the ramaining three. Mandi Blasters and all other fine wonders did nada as my Commander made his three saves, then he bonked two of 'em to death and guess what! Last Scorpion ran away....  hehe.. 

Sad to say that this was a Carnage, so after my most terrifiv turn a couple of really really decadent dudes of nurgle showed up and trampled the poor guy......

One of my firewarrior squads, a crummy looking one I got cheap off of an ex player, has done several cool things.

1st they killed a deep striking Grand Master in cc. 2nd they managed to escape an eversor assasine I think it was in cc, regroup and shoot her down, losing only 1 man in the process. 3rd they took down a callidus assasine in cc, they rolled snake eyes on the leadership test and the next round they managed to hit him 3 times and he failed all 3 saves.

You should really show us your caped firewarriors.

Well, right now I don't have access to a camera... When I do (probably a few weeks)  I'll try and put a few on.  I always have trouble with the focus tho.... :-'

Lol i was fighting the leader that hopped up with bionics one i was not counting on that. Charges my crisis takes 1 out. Then my stealth team and shas'o rush in. 5 stealth hit but he rolls 5 6s i could not belive it. My shas'o landed 2 i think but he saved them. Then my 2 crisis attacked and got some revenge they killed the same guy 2 times that game. He finnaly rolled 1 after 5+2+4 roles what are the chances. He should have fail when my stealth charged in.

On sunday I went to the local club at a nearby memorial hall and we played 3 games with 750 pts.
first I played 13th company, I got my a** handed to me on a silver platter, we played on a 4x4 table , the fenris wolves got into combat with my FW on turn 2 (scout moves, fleet, 12" moves, hideously lengthy charges).

any way second game I played dark angels, my tau were on the assaullt charging the reeling dark angels.

on with the goodies,Tau vs guard. me assaulting again. My 3-man stealth unit single handedly took out a whole infantry platoon in combat, then my commander and a fire warrior squad also single handedly took out a conscript platoon then almost an entire infantry platoon in combat.

Funny but I've had grots and ripper swarm masacre my stealth with ease.  CC is dangerous.
