As far as i know, gaunts don't have access to defense grenades, unless you are talking about some other mechanic that i'm not aware of

1. Now the Daemon Prince for marines is very high cost, but it can get biomancy powers. Which means if you upgrade to level 2 it can get some really cool powers. If you hit 3 the chances of getting powers like iron arm turns into a 50% chance. Although expensive you can have a prince on average with toughness 7 at a 50% chance of doing so. Also if you take the axe it becomes a str 8 creature with only -1 to it's really high ws.
I was going to say much the same; the Sigil of Corruption is an optional upgrade, not something you get just for being a Chaos Lord.Yeah i understand that reaction, but there isn't a special rule that screams siege specialist that's useful. I guess i could make it a bit more restrictive. Something like, " In a primary detachment that includes Honsou, one maulerfiend does not count towards a heavy support choice" and "Warpsmiths get to re roll Master of Mechanisms rolls"
Having played since early-mid Third Edition, I do not like letting Iron Warriors have four Heavy Support choices. It was a stupid idea when GW did it, and I still don't think it's particularly well balanced now.
What they did back in the day was make you drop 2 fast attack for that extra HS. That did not balance it as fast attack was poor then and HS was great. If you do that now it will easily balance your character because FA is by FAR the best choice in the chaos codex.
