Title: D20 modern question.
Post by: InsaneTD on January 05, 2015, 06:22:24 AM
Ok, does anyone know if D20 modern has rules for fear and phobias? My group wants me to run a game about trying to survive a zombie apocalypse and one of the members is scared of darkness and zombies, so I want rules for fear.

Is it similar to the XD20 rules on the Firma forum? If so then it would probably be an intelligence check, rolling over theier stat, with a negative modification to their roll to represent them overcoming the fear.

Or is it a different system you're referring to? if so, link so I can have a nosey and give a better response :)

No, it's based on Wizards of the Coast D20 system, as seen in D&D 3/4/5.

I'll have to bring down my starters guide to D&D to have a look properlly.

Surely psycholigy is a common part of D&D.

It is in D&D, but it's not in Saga edition which I know most. It's been a while since I played D&D so I can't remember.
