There was a short pause as Luna considered how to respond to this increasingly unusual situation. Eventually she decided to make it somepony elses problem.
"Apology accepted, Mr Crack. Now then, I have pressing matter to attend to elsewhere, so I will leave you in the hands of the guards." She turned to address one of the remaining guards. "Sergeant, escort these ponies to the storerooms. You know your orders." With that, the princess dissolve back into purple smoke and vanished through the cracks in the wall.
After a short detour to a bathroom (where Plumber was delighted to see that the castle did have good plumbing!) the group arrived at the storerooms. Already waiting for them were four sets of saddlebags that had been loaded with food, rope, bandages and various other generically useful equipment.
"Now then," said the sergeant, "there is still room in your bags, so if you want anything else now is the time to say so. As for weapons, the princess said one weapon or piece of armour each, and no guard issue. Once you're done we will show you to your rooms."
