Ynnead Lives! New Eldar God?

Hi All,
Just FYI, new GW video and models.
Ynnead, the Eldar god of the Dead now has three new models including a sick looking avatar.
Generally more of a Dark Eldar/Coven look to them, which I approve.
Subtext: Fracture of Biel-tan.
Which is my favorite Craftworld, so kudos to them.
What does this mean?
Is Slaanesh dead?
Who are the new models?  (One of them has a fan... Is that you Malys?)

I wouldn't be too surprised if GW removed Slaanesh from the current game, they did it with Age of Sigmar. I'd be disappointed but with the editions I play it wouldn't make much of a difference for me personally.

I see what you mean about the models looking Dark Eldar-y, if they didn't have the soul stones I'd think they were straight out of Commorragh, they're probably designed to fill the gap between the Craftworlders and their dark kin.

So we now have an Eldar faction that is a weird hybrid of Craftworld and Dark Eldar? Deliberately creating a new god in order to defeat one they made by accident?

If you think about it, if this god inhabits the Warp the same way the other four do, you could technically create a Chaos Space Marine force under Ynnead.

On a more comical note, does anyone else find the new gods name a little funny?

"Ynnead me in the crotch!"

I've got to say the Avatar is my least favourite of the new miniatures.

IMO it just looks a bit tacky having those swirly bits. (I kind of have a similar problem with Nagash).

I hope we don't loose Slaanesh from the game though. Plus didn't the 4th edition Eldar book have quite a nice segment about the end of Slaanesh?
