Hi All,
From Faeit212 a leaked list of models for 2013??  Just... read it.  I hope it's real.

Please realize that this is a still a rumor, and that schedules are always likely to change this far out. This is already all over the internet, and it appears it originally came from pastebin and mentions its a deleted Scribd list

Well that certainly seems interesting, based on the armies with a large number of these kits we'll be seeing:
SoB
Eldar
Black Templars
Orks

Possibly:
Tau
Vanilla marines

And then a few one-off models for other armies.

Overall it looks promising, if expensive, and they haven't mentionned lots of CSMs or Dark Angels but they might be released earlier than this lot.

El ShasOcho

I think the guy who posted this said this would start June 2013. With this information, I would put my money on CSM and DA this fall/ winter, and tau this coming spring (northern hemi style of course). Thinking this based on Tau not having enough for a full re-release wave, but enough for a second wave.
Eldar will likely be after June since they have substantial stuff. Same with orks.

Alright, a few things that stand out

Kroot Kroothawks RE
Tau Empire Nautilus Defence Platform PL
Tau Empire Mako PL
Commander Farsight RE
Tau Empire Vespid Stingwings / Vespid Spinewings PL

3 Plastic-kits, and 2 Resin?

Anyone have any ideas what the Kroothawk is?

Isn't a Mako something that was fan-made? I'm sure its a mini Devilfish.

Nautilus Defence Platform soundfs like a Tauy Specific Fortification. SO now we not only have an army to collect, but race specific buildings?

Can't gosh-darn wait to see Vespid in Plastic.

Farsight will probably be an upgrade kit for a standard Battlesuit, a-la Broadside kit.

And if you look even further down you'll see;

200462412010202 Space Marine Astartes Battle Fortress Tower / Pillar of Heroes PL 02 cc
200462512340209 Space Marine Astartes Battle Fortress Monastery PL

Because Space Marines require more than other races, so they get a whole Battle Fortress. Which is actually sounding quite cool but will cost a huge amount. Regardless, it'll probably look amazing.

Narric

I was mostly looking at Tau Specific stuff, but I see what you mean.

A Kroothawk is a Kroot lifeform that is held sacred by the other Kroots as it is believed to be the main originating lifeform for every other Kroot lifeform.

The Mako may be the new Tau Flyer that everyone is talking about, and the Nautilus is definitely a fortification from the sound of it. I believe that the Tau are now officially keeping all those sea lifeform names as their calling card.

I am personally very interested in the SOB and Black Templars aspect of the release rumour. From the looks of it those two will play the role of the 'Imperial' releases for 2013.

And from the looks of it, the Orks and Vanilla Space Marines will get a codex update like Daemons too with these new characters in the mix.

For me this hits the "Too good to be true" spot.

If however, it is true, then it points towards several "wave" releases, a bit like the last Daemon update, so maybe more White Dwarf update books? That would be a very efficient way of both boosting White Dwarf sales, and bringing out the models to sale when they are ready rather than waiting for the next update.

That could create this sort of release schedule without need for as many released codices.

Oh man, I'm extremely anxious for Vespids... and it makes me wonder if I should still pick up those finecast ones.. as I love Vespids even though they aren't great.. or good I suppose.  I really like the idea of the Vespids, here's to hoping that their points / abilities get looked over to make them more on par with their point cost.  Nice, but I agree it seems too good to be true.

El ShasOcho

Anyone else notice that its vespid stingwings/vespid spinewings? Suggests a new unit which is always nice.

The Mako was something we put in the 2Sdex. It was a Fast Devilfish with heavier weapons and funky toys.

We shall see how this turns out, but its seems Tau are not going to be getting much at all as usual.

It starts JUNE 2013. This gives the impression that the Tau codex could be before this, and therefore this would be a second wave release. No point moaning yet! :P
