Oh, I have Homeworld as well. :P

Though getting a 90s game to work on multiplayer isn't always easy...

Oh that looks good... though I'm not going to buy a game for that much. :P I'll wait a year until it's on sale. :)

Yea my thoughts were the same ;) although more along the lines of - i have no time to play a game right now, so ill buy it this autumn when it is also cheaper :D
Do want to play as kadesh in multiplayer though...

I hear they scrapped tactics and formations and fuel ... which imo takes away half the tactical element of the game, but hey ho ... its pretty!

Were tactics the setting for 'aggressive', 'reactive/defensive'(/similar), 'never defend myself'?

I liked having all of those features - it let you customise your strategy quite a lot. Though running out of fuel on a ship was a bit annoying sometimes... :P I think I usually used claw formation... except in multiplayer when I just lined up a couple of hundred fighters - I think I once hit the unit cap on every type of ship.

Never played it, never even heard of it. It looks pretty good though, I'd be tempted if I weren't so skint. Maybe I'll try and find a pirate version.

You may be able to find the original one at a good price - I picked it up for £2 or so in a charity shop a few years ago.

Even with the old graphics the game plays well. (I think I had it working on my Windows 7 machine so it should work on most computers still).

I look forward to when it drops in price, but don't look forward to finding out my old PC doesn't support it :(

A notwe on Frontline Tactics. It a turn-based game, and can be played multiplayer even if you don't have a constant connection. i actually played against a guy over the span of a couple days in the same game. the Tactics themselves are easy to pick up, and so long as you level up your soldiers the right way, you can have some pretty deadly specialists.
So it's sort of like X-Com but low graphics?

Frontline Tactic look pretty interesting (and more importantly it's free). I'll download it soon and give it a go.

You make it sound like it could be wearing a top-hat and monocle, but for the sole reason it'd have been painted by Gareth that it would still look terrifying........I have to say I agree. XD

I'm quite liking Robocraft at the moment :P So close to Tier 3.

Despite my graphics not quite coping, the gameplay is still fun :P

The graphics were fine for me until a recent update, but now the edges of the terrain all have grey bits on them :P

Hopefully I'll get to take you on at some point in challenge mode. Tier 6 rail cannons are great fun when it comes to one-shotting lower levels.

I've had plenty of T2 vs T6 challenge games :P Keep an eye out for "Narric_01" and currently I'll either be in "Dinky Derp," or "Gunship" :P Did a rebuild of Dinky Derp last night/this morning, so I'll be rolling him out later between 10pm-Midnight.

By graphics i mean that every cube (except the hardware and specials) reloads to just pink. This is really annoying if I have a robo with mixed block armour. The other issue I have is a Minecraft block placing mentallity. I keep hitting right-click, which combined with my first problem can be increadibly time consuming to correct.
