I often use the Brown one, and am looking into the grey ones that are around....
They can be very helpful in adding natural shading to your base coat!

Hey all. Got a few wip shots of my Nurgle Deamon Prince... I'm currently waiting for the Green stuff to cure before I continue... What are your thoughts?

Thems some Purdy rats... I like them
I love how they look regimented and ordered, yet tatty and twisted at the same time....

I think you're right on all counts... I guess if we were to cover all factions, Marines would be a very small force. You could overcome this issue simply by the amount of reinforcements you're team got.
If I remember rightly, SWBF had like 250 men for each side (what with rebels and empire being well balanced against each other really). Perhaps SM would be just 50 (but NAILS hard) whilst Tyrannids would have 500 (or some other appropriate number)

Tau Suits, I would see as taking the role of the scout vehicle... perhaps (again like SWBF where you could use the xwings on standard battles) on the larger maps you could have access to pirannahs, otherwise suits would be the ATST equivilant...

It's all down to a matter of scale.
You could release various different story driven campaign via download each with various new maps which are compatible with all races...
make sense?

Complete ressurrection, but I'm guessing that is ok.

I'd go for something akin to Star Wars Battlefront. I loved those games! You play as a nameless soldier in battles. The simple idea is to win the battle. either kill everyone, or hold the strategic objectives for x amount of time. On a campaign mode, the over arching storyline tells you the meaning for each battle, but at the same time, you're no one remarkable.
Vehicles can be incorporated in the same manner as SWBF or perhaps as kill perks as per CoD.

Would be sweet I reckon!

No, the bases are normally the last part I work on... I'm not quite sure what to do with them yet.... I'll probs detach the juggers from the base and then reattach when done.

Thanks for the reply!

See, that's where he's going to be different!
I'm hoping for my bloodletters to be different. I'm thinking of a creamy kind of white look but cracked with red in the core... so I'll start white, red wash and then suild up some areas with the white.... Or, that's what I'm thinking... It could fail horrifically..

Struggling a bit with 40k... I don't think I've even looked at my 40k since the summer. Working on fantasy quite a bit though.
I've spent quite a lot on that recently too!

Thanks for the reply Mabbz
I guess it kinda is khorne, its just not plate red...
I'll give the red another glaze perhaps, that seems to bring it up quite nice...

Hey all. To follow on from my Herald, I figured I show off my Blood crusher unit.
I really wanted to go for the brass look, I reckon I've managed that without losing the Khornate feel...

I have since added another 2 juggers along with the herald. This should make for a horrible unit! Riders will follow shortly I'm sure..

Hey guys, hope we're all well!
I've been busy working away on my Nurgle and Khorne Deamons of Chaos army for fantasy.
I love the Blood Crushers unit, they're great. But on paper, they don't deliver enough punch for their price. Not with out Herald support at least, so I set to converting up a simple one... What are your thoughts?

The only real difference between this and a normal rider is the weapon. You can't take lances at all in the DoC army, so I figured I'd make one which could represent various weapons... It could count as the standard hell blade, or it could rep a generic magic weapon if needed... More than anything though, I needed something which would stand out from the unit... I reckon I've managed that, what about you guys?

Blood crushers were horrifically OP in the previous edition, however, they truely got smacked upside the head by the nerfbat with the new codex (or so I'm told). Whilst they're amazing models, they've rubbish rules... Too overpriced for too little output.

Hey guys...
So i'm working on my Deamons list, I have about 1200 pts pure Nurgle, which is neat, but I need something that can do a bit more than hold the line.
I need something that can chop things up good. Obviously Khorn is the normal combat option, but from what I have heard, they can be fairly fragile...
What would the best option be? Khorn or Slanesh?

So far I have
2 x Nurgle Herald on foot
40 x Plague bearers
6 x Plague drones
3x bases of Nurglings

and potentially 20 x blood letters. I need some speed and agression so was wondering between Flesh hounds and Seekers of Slanesh... which would you go for?

Wow... I mean, Wow!
I genuinely didn't expect that!
I love reading your stuff BT, and I know you're a good gamer, but I didn't expect that outcome at all!

Great read, looking forward to the next one!

Hey all, have ya' all seen the new Nurgle miniatures for Fantasy End Times?

I love them, I know they'll end up being for Warriors of Chaos, but I wish I could take them for Deamons!
