Throwing Grenades

So, I jut heard last night that in 6th ed, your can actually Throw your Grenades... Firstly is this right? I've never owned a rule book, but am looking to get a 6th ed.

If this is so, does this means that 10 Black Templar Assault Marines all with Melta Bombs can now be a REAL Pain in the Arse?

Yes, you can throw assault grenades, but you only get to throw one.  For a more detailed explanation, please refer to pages 61-62 of the rulebook, as quoting the rules in detail is against GW's rules on copyright.

Note that melta bombs have no range, so cannot be thrown.
