You make it sound like it could be wearing a top-hat and monocle, but for the sole reason it'd have been painted by Gareth that it would still look terrifying........I have to say I agree. XD

I love the pith helmets, they are awesome.
First rank, FIRE! Rear rank FIRE! :P

I hope you have about 2 years of free time to write all those rules, RC ;)

Nice axes! I love the torches too, makes me want to make some scenery.
I know the feeling, when i get some time id like to use the torches in a 3D heroquest board, along each passage. OSL with the airbrush ^_^

Nice Naser, spread the word ;)

Will be masses more releases filtering into the shop today and next week.
Now we are relatively well established with our own brand and miniatures, I thought it was TIME!
Time for all those cool conversion parts ive seen over the years produced by obscure mini makers, that the average hobbyist didnt know existed; im in talks with a lot of them to stock their stuff all in one place on Zealot. Sold at a discount from the RRP of course  ;D

Not to mention I'd have to figure out which era to start with...
So how many crashes have I survived now?

Why not start at the begining of the full story? :P

Hey, Thantos.

If you're still doing custom weapon ideas then I've got one for you that I hope you might be interested in.

Essentially, you'd be looking at a weapon around the size, bulk, and shape of a GW Space Marine/Sisters of Battle/Chaos Space Marine Heavy Bolter, and held in a similar fashion.  It would have a meltagun-esque barrel with a chainblade mounted immediately underneath it.  The idea is that the weapon uses a fusion of melta technology and the same technology that Chainfists use to envelop cutting blades in power fields; it's a heavy duty cutting tool for use in ship boarding actions to slice through bulkheads and armoured walls.

I've attached a rough mock-up of how I envision it, thanks to the wonderful world of MS Paint...   :shifty:

Also, how's work coming on those chain-glaives?  I notice that they're not actually in the store, yet.
Regards,
MT.

Freaking mod-ninja. :P

Although, given that you're in Japan now, I suppose that's entirely legit. :shifty:

Zealot Chainglaive

I made this with a zealot chainsword (they're awesomely useful) and a khorne berserker chainaxe. (Sorry for the poor lighting)

Thantos

Ahh yea I need to sort those glaives and saws out. Ill get around to that this month with luck.
Looking good Deraj, always good to see pics of what the minis have been used for :D

I like the cutter idea MT, would it be carried our mounted on a walker of vehicle?

Looks like a "standard" one could be carried, and easily scaled up for a Walker variant.

I wonder what a M2 Assault Droid would look likewith such a weapon system *nudge nudge*

Thantos

Ha, yea really wanna do another gun variant after seeing this guys conversion :P

Narric

If I get round to buying one, I'd probably do something similar with the Minigun you sell :P

It's supposed to be handheld, in two hands, by Space Marines, like a big chainsaw.  It's supposed to represent specialised equipment, specifically for boarding actions, rather than the all-purpose meltagun.  The idea is that it uses a melta-beam to superheat the bulkhead (or other target), then use the field-protected cutting blade to slice through it.  I see no reason why they couldn't be mounted on vehicles or scaled up, though.

I'm actually going to be converting some up, out of CSM Heavy Bolters, meltaguns, and chainswords, for my Space Wolves army (based around boarding actions; in game terms they'll be meltaguns).

MT.

Marines certainly need more stuff for boarding actions, FW do some good boarding marines last time i looked too :D

FWs boarding action weapon look more alien :P

[edit]
Hey Thantos, just out of curiosity, how challenging would it be to convert a M2 Assault Droid into something a-kin to a Maulerfiend? :shifty:

Chris

How have I only just noticed this!!! The warrior priest you do is FREAKING AWESOME!!

Now to find a way to get him in my army.....

I have that model and... the pictures don't do it justice. It has amazing details and is really easy to paint up with a simple drybrushing or line highlighting to make look absolutely nuts. Unfortunately his pose made him look perfect for a statue of a priest, so I painted him as an objective marker.
