Something short and sweet to start of 2014. They've won their respective categories, but how do they match up against eachother? It is up to the community, to decide what is really the best painted miniature of 2013

My Pro-Tau bias is saying I should pick the Riptide, but the paint job on those Rangers is too exquisite to ignore.

Well lets be honest, he was most likely gonna get it :P

"Best Miniature of 2013" goes to:
Tom, with his Light Infantry Eldar Rangers

I'm not surprised, and as everybody can see, it was pretty landslide.

However, do not take this as a failure, for we all improve. With every  brush stroke, with every mini made, with every strand of flock glued, you improve, and maybe Tom will not be the best of 2014 ;) only time will tell, and He's just set himself up as the one to beat :P

Good luck for 2014 everybody. Don't forget that the Warlords and Special Characters Contests are up, running and wanting entries ;)

I'm very flattered. Now I better finish off the rest of that squad... I hope I can keep up the mini output and standard this year. I'm looking forward to seeing more from everyone.

Well done Tom. Glad everyone got at least one vote as they were all good stuff. Also a decent number of voters.

What if it's because they all voted for themselves? :P

Unless the rules changed in my absence, it's highly frowned upon to do so.  Whilst there isn't actually anything in place to stop it happening, people shouldn't be doing it.

Although, given that you're in Japan now, I suppose that's entirely legit. :shifty:

I personally don't feel comfortable voting for my own things :P Its like "Like"ing your own Facebook status, just so uncool.

But onto a lighter note, shall we ;)
