Just thought I'd share some more quick marines. These ones are more interesting because of their equipment. Their bases are rather boring at the moment because they're missing a few tufts of grass that will make them slightly less bare.

THey look great! Im loving the giant shields! And the blue eyes!
Phew...

Love them! The uniformity of the helmets really adds to the templar themed look. Must be getting quite a big force now :D

Thanks for the replies. The shields are massive aren't they? Also a bit thick really, and a few little miscast problems that I probably should have fixed up before painting them. This was my first time working with such small resin bits so perhaps I didn't look close enough before starting. I have worked on the Forgeworld Avatar model but that either didn't have any problems or they weren't easy to spot on the molten skin... talking of which he's 3rd on my to-do list after being delayed for so long.

One thing I'm particularly unsure about is the chap with the two swords. Because I didn't want to give him the bolter that goes with the GK left arm I had a gap to cover up that I didn't want to spend time trying to sculpt over so gave him a little shield instead... The picture probably shows the worst angle to look at it so I wonder what you think.

I honestly don't mind it, the little buckler helps to tie him in with the other templars. I wouldn't mind seeing it at another angle though. :)
