A Chaos Undivided (I'm actually deciding between Black Legion and Word Bearers) Army List; Just a balanced all-comers thematic, yet competitive army list with no regard of Fortification and Flyers.

I see a lot of plasma and no flame throwers. I think same flame templates will even you out. Also more than 3 heavy range support will help balance you out a bit more. Other than that I think you will do well against marine armies with a small amount of vehicle support.

I think armour cracking swarm armies will give you a hard time.

Well, I will try to keep things thematic, but there are some things that should warrant some attention or some alterations.

Nope. Too expensive for what it do. Take the Chaos Lord instead. He does a lot more for a lot cheaper.

Not bad. But you need more troop choices, and with different weaponry, such as one squad with flamers or something. Not to mention that a combi-weapon on the champion is always worthwhile. Powerfist is debatable, but I actually would suggest the power axe as it is much cheaper and does the job just fine.

Too many Marines. Take 5 -men squads with 4 autocannons each. You could have two squads of them if you do them that way.

Obliterator (210 Points)
3 Obliterators equipped with Fleshmetal and Power Fist

Needs Mark of Nurgle or Mark of Tzeentch to be more survivable.

In essence, not so bad, but I suggest that you discard the Warp Talons and the Daemon prince for a Chaos lord and at least a cultist blob or another Marine squad. It will make your list competitive and balanced.

Arguleon-veq

I would deffo drop the Prince, as has been said it is far too many points. Take a much cheaper lord. The prince will just be shot down to easily.

Your troops are ok but Powerfists arent worth it now. Take an Axe if you want to bust termies or a sword for other marines. Maybe one of each.

Warp Talons are far too many points for what they do and not survivable enough, either take Raptors as suggested or even better [much much better] take bikes.

I like the Havocs in a big unit, it keeps those heavy weps alive longer.

The Oblits really need a mark of Nurgle. Justify it with your theme by saying its advanced redundant systems or that they are just bigger Oblits are somthing rather than it being MoN but you really need to take it to make them worthwhile.

Downsized the HQ to a Chaos Lord on Chaos Bike as well as the Warp Talons to Raptors. I used the extra points to get a unit of Chaos Bikers. I don't like the idea of having Chaos Marks just because it makes my units perform better. If I'm going to get any one of the Chaos Marks, then the whole army has to follow and get that Chaos Mark.

An interesting note is that Specialist Weapons (Lightning Claws, Power Fists, etc.) get +1 attack from being dual wielded by another specialist weapon, regardless of the type.
With this in mind, I would actually give a Chaos Lord both a Lightning Claw and a Power Fist as he would benefit from +1 attack regardless of which he is fighting with and it would allow him greater flexibility for only ten more points. (And with the Power Fist, you wouldn't really need to take the Melta Bombs)

I have to wonder at why you gave the Chaos Bikers and Raptors power mauls. Those squads should have the weight of attacks to drown monstrous creatures and large blobs, but a full squad of terminators or the like might give them problems. With this in mind, I'd give them a power axe.

I personally wouldn't give your havoc squad champion a power weapon or other gear because if they are engaged in combat then something has gone horribly wrong anyway.
As to the unit's size, I personally like to take 8 models. This gives you four ablative wounds to cover the valuable heavy weapons which to me seems like just the right amount.

I do want to say that I love the list, its nice and fast with just about all the bases covered. However, I would strongly advise you to take at least 4 troop choices at 1500+ points if you are looking to be seriously competitive in 6th edition because of the sheer quantity of objective based missions. If you want to take a fourth troop choice in the form of another chaos space marine squad I would drop the obliterators to make room.

Well from the looks of the list, I will have to say some things about the list.

1)The Power Maul is perhaps not the best weapon for a Marine of any kind, and either the Axe or the Sword is better than the Maul, despite the 'stunning' qualities. Might as well kill it straight out.

2)Seeing how you have bikers now, and how your Chaos Lord is equipped, I find that the Raptors are actually very redundant and now fills a very odd role in your list.

3) As Aun would have said, troop choices is too low for 1750 pts. Take another squad of marines. This is not the days of 4th edition anymore, and you would have to adapt to that.

4) I find the lack of heavy support disturbing. Needs another Havoc Squad with autocannons.

5)You do not have to take the full complementary of marines for some of the squads, and you could have used slightly smaller squadsas you have to budget them according to their effectiveness. This also means that some of your squads do not need some of the weaponry that they have, such as the power mauls.

I also high suggest that you take a combi-weapon on the CSM champions to lend in even more firepower as needed.

Squads that are better off being smaller: Bikers, Havocs

Squads that are better off being bigger: Marines (but highly necesary in your case as they are in rhinos.

Squads that are better off cheaper: Havocs, Bikers, and CSM champions.

My advice is similar to that of Aun, but I would prefer that you have more long-ranged firepower to support the squads that will be going in hard and fast. 2 CSM squads with plasma guns and two CSM squads with flamers would cover the fundamental basics of your anti MEQ and Anti infantry.

I know this is backtracking a little but I actually think the Prince could be handy in this list, the problem is that you dont  really have a real killer unit that can blow people away or carve them up so if your against something really good that will overwhelm your marines easily your in a tough position.

Maybe throw him back in, give him the axe of blind fury, the mark of tzeentch will help keep him alive then wings and power armour, he can fly around until he wants to hit combat and he will just delete squads. Also gives you a little bit of anti air from his vector strike. For the points just make the raptors 5 strong with the meltas as a little tank busting unit.

I still think those oblits need the mark of nurgle though. At T4 I even put a few rockets into them, as they fail 2+'s eventually and instant killing halfs their durability. It also makes them much harder to take out with fists in combat.

I think the points cost for your chaos space marine troop squads might be a bit off. If you take 10 of them with 2 plasma guns, rhino and a power axe they should be 220 points

I personally really dislike Obliterators, as they tend to be very points-inefficient for the firepower they put out.

I know that your really dont like the idea of taking marks because you are running a word bearer army, but if you put Mark of Khorne on 15/14 Raptors, give them 2 melta guns, an icon, and double lightning claws on the Champion, they will never do you wrong, with the re-roll to charge range and +2 attacks and +1 strength being AWESOME.
If you do take that, I would strongly advise you to mark your Lord to khorne and drop the fist and claw and instead take an Axe of Blind Rage. With that weapon he can rip just about anything a new one. 6+D6 Str 7 AP2 attacks on the charge is brutal.
